About Elyse

As a former painter, I carry into my jewelry-making all the things I learned and loved about painting and drawing.  Color is one of the most important aspects of art to me, and this is why I use a variety of metals, patinas, stones, and enamels in my work.  Texture, too, is of great value to me, as it also creates a visual smorgasbord of delights. I teach jewelry making classes at the Firehouse Art Center in Norman, Oklahoma, and am a member of the Society of North American Goldsmiths.  All of my work is unique, one of a kind, and designed and created solely by my own hands.
